Synovium Myobuilder is the ideal supplement for the young equine athlete or the (sports)horse when developing muscles. Building a healthy muscle mass is essential to prevent injuries and promote performance. Therefore, Synovium Myobuilder contains Gamma Oryzanol and the body’s protein L-Carnitine to support and promote the development of a healthy and strong muscle mass.

Gamma Oryzanol is a mixture of ferulic acid esters of sterol and triterpene alcohols (1). Gamma Oryzanol has several functions in the body such as reducing cholesterol levels and inhibition of platelet aggregation. In addition, Gamma Oryzanol also has an antioxidant function in the body (2).  

Scientific research shows that the addition of Gamma Oryzanol to the diet, of the athletic horse, can prevent muscle damage and supports the muscles during intensive exercise (3).  

L-Carnitine is a component which can be found in the muscles and influences the oxidation of fatty acids in the mitochondria (4). Fatty acids are an important energy source for the muscles, which require more energy during exercise. In addition, physical activity also affects the Carnitine homeostasis in the horse's body (4). L-Carnitine supports the development of a healthy muscle mass, due to training, and therefore has a positive effect on the athletic performances of the horse (5).

Horse: add 50 grams daily to the feed. 
Pony: add 25 grams to the feed daily.

Not suitable for foals.

Or as directed by your vet.

For optimal results, a 2-month course of treatment is recommended and the horse should be in training.

Note: Before a competition, check with your own federation whether this product may be used.
