The essential oils extracted from Eucalyptus, Pine, Anise, Rosemary, and Thyme are utilized to support respiratory health and exhibit antibacterial properties that aid the function of the immune system in the respiratory tract (1). Besides it’s antibacterial function, Eucalyptus oil derived from Eucalyptus leaves, also has anti-inflammatory properties in the body (2,3). It aids the excretion of excess mucus and provides relief by opening up the airways and lungs (3). Aniseed oil has a protective effect on the airways and lungs by supporting the mucous membrane in the airways (4).  

The essential oils in Synovium Airplus soothe the throat and have a positive effect on the respiratory tract, allowing the horse to breathe more freely and thus perform optimally.
