Magnesium is important for the functioning of the muscles and the nervous system. When there is a magnesium deficiency — for example, when the body uses more magnesium due to stress or excessive sweating — the muscles remain tense. This muscle tension can affect the horse’s behaviour and mood. 

Synovium Mgnium therefore contains:

Magnesium Oxide & Magnesium Chelate: Magnesium oxide is absorbed relatively quickly by the body, making it fast-acting. Magnesium chelate is absorbed more slowly but has a higher biological value. The combination of these two forms of magnesium ensures a greater overall absorption, providing optimal effectiveness. 

B Vitamins: These are essential for a well-functioning nervous system and help promote calm behaviour in horses. This also has a positive effect on the horse’s ability to concentrate. Additionally, B vitamins have antioxidant properties and play a key role in the body’s energy metabolism.

Horse: add 57 grams daily to the feed.
Pony: add 28 grams to the feed daily.
Foal: add 20 grams to the feed daily

Or as directed by your vet.

One level measuring spoon contains 57 grams.

Duration of the petpot*:

Horse:
1,5 kg = 26 days
4,5 kg = 78 days

Pony:
1,5 kg = 53 days
4,5 kg = 160 days

Foals:
1,5 kg = 75 days
4,5 kg = 225 days

*If your vet prescribes a different dosage from the above feed recommendation, the duration of the pot may change.
