When a horse undergoes intense exertion, muscle acidosis can occur. During heavy exercise, lactic acid is produced in the muscles, which eventually leads to acidosis. This results in muscle fatigue and stiffness, preventing the horse from moving optimally. 

Synovium Neutravet contains:​

Citric Acid and Sodium Citrate: Both ingredients support the muscles during intense exertion. Sodium citrate promotes a healthy pH balance within the muscle cells, helping to maintain a stable acidity level. Citric acid helps to reduce muscle fatigue after exercise, promoting faster recovery of the body, particularly the muscles.

Horses: 3 doses daily over the evening meal. With heavy exertion, 1 additional dose.  

Ponies: 1.5 doses daily over the evening meal. With heavy exertion 0.5 doses extra.

Sodium citrate 30.8 mg
Citric acid 10.3 mg

Contents of 5 litres.
