Synovium MSM Optimal-C contains Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) and Vitamin C for providing the most optimal support to the horse's muscles, tendons and ligaments. This supplement supports faster recovery of muscles and tendons after intense exercise and promotes the horse's mobility. Synovium MSM Optimal-C is therefore suitable for horses that require some extra support after physical activity such as during the competition season or horses that frequently suffer from stiff muscles after training. Synovium MSM Optimal-C is also very suitable for older horses to maintain and support supple muscles and tendons..

Methylsulphonylmethane is an organically bound sulfur and is an important component for amino acid and protein synthesis in the body (1). Research shows that MSM has an anti-inflammatory effect which has a significant positive effect on the horse's mobility (2,3). In addition, MSM also has an antioxidant effect through which it neutralises free radicals created by oxidative stress during intense exercise in the body (4,5). 

Vitamin C also functions as an antioxidant and is therefore also able to neutralise free radicals in the body (6). In addition, Vitamin C has been shown to increase the supporting effect of MSM when the combination of both ingredients are added to the horse's diet (4).

Horse: add 40 grams daily to the feed.
Pony: add 20 grams to the feed daily

Not suitable for foals.
